The Appointed Person First Aid is a 1 day course for those in the workplace assisting the work of the designated First Aider, their role is to be able to carry out casualty management in an emergency until the duty or designated First Aider arrives. The other duties of the Appointed Person is to carry out the day to day support of the First Aider.
The objective for this course is basic life support skills:
Casualty and Injury Management Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
Fracture Management Treatment of Bleed Wounds
Treatment of Seizures Treatment of Hypoxia
Management of Unconscious Casualty. Use of Bangages and Slings
